Back to Basics
From UE Wiki
Introduction
- Underground Evolution is a game where you must train hard to defeat the competition. You must use strategy and choose your friends wisely if you want to come out on top, for they may betray you here. U-E offers both individual and team play aspects, that can take as little or as much time as you'd like. You could spend all day in the Gym training to beat your competition, or join a Gang and work as a team to destroy it. Same could be said criminally as well with solo or gang Crimes. eg. Robbing a bank or hijacking a plane. Have a read of this tutorial and you will have a much better understanding of the game... Good luck!
Sidebar
- As you can see, the Sidebar holds and categorizes most of the important links you are likely to need on a daily basis. All of these links will be talked about in detail later on in the tutorial.
Energy
- Energy is primarily used for training at the gym, costing between 10 and 70 energy per train depending on which workout you do. You can also use energy for attacking other players at a cost of 25 energy per attack. Energy is also used for the gym, crimes and school.
- As a non-donator, you receive 10 energy every 10 minutes up to a maximum energy of 100. If you are a VIP then you receive 10 energy every 5 minutes.
- Other than time, there are several ways of acquiring more energy such as:
- By using various Black Market items gaining 5/10/15/20/25/30 energy each.
- Buying an Energy Refill from the Resources page
- The maximum amount of energy you can have at any one time is 1,000. Reaching this for the first time will award the player with an honor bar.
Character Skills
These skills are essential for a successful gameplay on U-E. They determine success on both Fights, Prison and Crimes.
Fights: It's quite obvious. The better your skills, the better the the chance of beating your opponent.
Prison Escapes: These are determined by your intelligence and agility. If you are going to help someone escape, then it takes into consideration both skills from both players, so make sure you have enough of each skill before you try and bust a lower level player.
Crimes: Every crimes category requires a different skillset. For example, Public Order is based on your Agility and Endurance, whereas Property needs Agility, Endurance and Intelligence. So on top of meeting the minimum level requirements. you will also need to work on your skills to ensure that you succeed in the crimes. The higher the level, the more of the particular skill you need.
Home
- By clicking on the Home link, you can see nearly all of your stats. Most of them apart from Crime experience which is hidden. The 'Home' page shows basically everything about your account.
Events
- If anything happens to your account, for instance... If someone tries to attack you or if someone busts you out of jail, you will receive an event. You will know when you have an event as the link on the top bar will show you how many new events you have.
- You can delete all types of events individually at any time, or you can choose the delete all option at the top of the page, which will delete everything in your events Events will be deleted periodically from our server meaning you will lose older events.
Mailbox
- Your Underground Evolution mailbox is like an email account, players can send you messages and you can send them messages. Like events, when you receive a new mail, the link on the top bar will show you how many new messages you have.
- You can not send mails to multiple people at once.
- You also have an ignore feature which will prevent other players from mailing you or being able to send you events. So if someone is constantly mailing and you do not wish to speak to them, you can click the ignore link in the Actions column.
- You can delete your mails by simply clicking the trash can icon located next to each mail you receive, at the bottom of the page you can delete them all at once.
Work
- There are a few options of work and each of them last longer. The longer the work, the more you get paid.

Crimes
About
- As well as getting cash for doing Crimes, you also get crime experience allowing you to do better at the other crimes.
Outcomes
- Each crime has many outcomes depending on the results, you'll either experience a success, warning, or fail, possible outcomes could be prison, hospital, earning money, or escaping from the cops. Your crime experience will only go up if the crime is successful.
Failing
- By going to Prison you lose a large amount of crime experience. It is very important that you avoid prison at all costs, not only are you stuck in there for a long time, but it can leave a big dent in your crime experience. It may take a long time to regain it again.
Newspaper
- In the Newspaper you can find the latest news generated by other U-E users like yourself, as well as chronicles on past events and other forms of news, ie. classified ads and popular black market listings.
Prison
- You go to Prison if you do a crime and get caught by the cops, you can also go in for failing a faction organised crime. When in there, you are restricted access to most of the pages in U-E. You can try to escape from prison while in there. When not in prison, you can also bust or buy people out of prison. Busting will get them out. Certain things to take into consideration If you bust them out, you will be rewarded with crime experience, which also helps you do other crimes easier. Level also plays a role in making busting, it is easier at higher levels, and easier to bust lower levels. If you take the risk of busting someone out and get caught, you will go to jail yourself. Buying them out will not do anything, just cost you cash.
Hospital
- You can end up in the hospital in many ways whilst playing Underground Evolution. The most common way is by getting hospitalised after an attack. Unlike Prison, you are only restricted if you start a treatment, but beware if your health is too low, you may not be able to do much in the city. Once you start a treatment, some sections of U-E will be blocked.
Slots & Roulette
- A place to chill out and maybe win yourself a little cash! Details of how to play the games are in the respective game. You will need to have tokens to play all the games currently listed.
Attacking
About
- You are more likely to beat someone who has less stats than you, if you lose, you could find yourself in hospital for quite a long time.
- You can attack someone directly through their profile, or choose a random player in the fight arena.
Calculations:
- Apart from all your stats, your health is also very important. It you have full health you will be using 100% of your stats, whereas, if you only have 20% health, then you will only be attacking/defending with 20% of your strength.
- When you attack someone, you will be shown the probability of you wining the battle. If Big, then most certainly you will win. If Average, it's up to chance and if Small, then you will most likely lose the attach.
Actions:
- Hospitalise
- When you Hospitalise someone they will lose all their health.
- Mugging
- When you mug someone you will steal some of their money. You will usually get between 1% and 10% of what they are carrying depending if they are a higher/lower level than you. If you attack a lower level, the rewards will be small and at times even nothing. You will only truly benefit in attacking if the opponent is a higher level..
Weapons and Armor
- These are all purchased in the shops. They do not offer any true advantage in fighting as all they do is grant you permanent stat increase.
Leveling
- One of the most important things in the game is leveling. You get respect and crime experience (crime experience is a hidden stat) every time you use the gym, do crimes and attack people. You need to do a lot of crimes to go up! When you are able to go up a level, you will be notified in your events. By gaining Levels, as well as many other benefits, you also get access to special areas. For example, some of the areas are shown below. Please keep in mind there are pros and cons to everything and leveling is not an exception. If you level too quickly, your stats will not be equal to those who took their time, this leaves you wide open to being what is known as a 'leveling target'. Basically you become the high level with low stats everyone uses for experience.
Level 5 - The Bank
Level 6 - Stock Market
Level 10 - Races
more to come ...

About items

Gangs
About gangs
- Gangs are one of the main parts of U-E. By joining one, you agree to work with the other members to make your gang the best. While in a gang you will need to participate with the other members in organised crimes, requires teamwork, meaning you have to remain active. organised crimes can help earn your gang cash, crime experience and respect. Gangs also expect you to attack enemy factions when at war with them.
Joining a Gang
- Before joining a gang be sure you choose wisely. If you choose to be in an Aggressive faction, check their war base and speak to their leader. Some factions require daily chaining, minimum stat requirements, or that you have a VIP Pack. It's wise to speak to the leader and find out just what they expect from you before you apply.
